The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (NTC) announced on Wednesday evening in a statement broadcast on independent Aden satellite TV the combat alarm for all the people of the south.
Hani Bin Bruik, vice president of the Southern Transitional Council, called for the overthrow of the corrupt legitimate government and control of the Al-Maasheq presidential palace in the city of Aden after the funeral of the commander in the security belt and Brigade of support and attribution Brigadier General Muneer al-Yafe`i Abu al-Yamamah.

Participants in the protest said, the Presidential Protection Forces fired at protesters chanting anti-government slogans as they attempted to approach the entrance to Hoqqat, where Al-Maasheeq area is located.
Local sources reported close to Hoqqat, Crater, an area where the presidential palace is located that the shooting continues to this moment, amid deployment the Presidential Protection Forces.
The correspondent of the "Debriefer" international news agency reported that the warplanes of the Joint Arab Coalition Forces, led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, flew heavily over the city of Aden during the funeral ceremony, while southern security forces deployed in different parts of the country in conjunction with the clashes in the old city of Aden.
