Iran's Revolutionary Guard commander Amir Haji Zadeh confirmed that any US action against Iran would be met with direct strikes.

"American forces in the region are completely in the range of Iranian missiles, and any real movement of US forces against Iran will be met with direct strikes. US warships are an easy target for us and our missiles can destroy them," he said.

"The US aircraft carrier, which has 40 to 50 combat fighters and 6,000 elements, was a threat to us and today is an opportunity," he added. "American positioning in all its forms in the region was a threat to us and today is an opportunity."

The commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hussein Salami, said that the United States does not have the ability or the courage to wage war on Iran, and US aircraft carriers are not immune.

According to the Fars news agency, Salami attended a closed meeting in the Shura (parliament) on Sunday morning, where he reported on his programs in the coming period.

"The dispatch of a US aircraft carrier to the region is nothing more than a psychological war, in which America seeks to intimidate the people and some military officials from the war," MP Mohammad Ali Burmakhtar was quoted as saying.

According to MP Burmukhtar, Salami believes that "the American war against Iran is not possible, as the US does not have the ability or the courage to wage war." What prevents this is the strength of the Iranian armed forces on the one hand, and the vulnerabilities of US aircraft carriers by Another, so America will not offer such a risk. "

In recent days, the United States sent the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier to the Middle East, as well as B-52 bombers, and later decided to send the Arlington warship to the area.

This came after the administration spoke of possible Iranian plans to launch attacks on US targets in the region. According to Washington, the attacks may target American interests in Bab al-Mandab, in both Iraq and Kuwait, as well as targeting bases and diplomats.
