A senior Houthi leader killed in Yemeni Saada

The forces of the Yemen's internationally recognized government said that they had killed a senior military commander of the Houthi group (Ansar Allah) in the northern province of Saada.

The Government forces confirmed that they had taken control of new sites in the Baqem district of Saada governorate, in an offensive operation supported by coalition fighters, according to the Aden-Based Yemeni News Agency (Saba).

The commander of the Axis Azal Commander of Brigade 102, Brigadier General Yasser Al-Harthi, said that his forces "controlled the hills and mountainous heights between the western Al-Tair mountain range and Al-Jawhara east of the center of the Baqem district in Saada."

Al-Harthy explained that the offensive operation carried out by its forces resulted in the killing of the pillars of the Houthi Brigade 103 of the Houthis (Ansar Allah), in addition to "the killing of dozens and the wounding of others, and capture of three, including a sniper with all his belongings."
