On Wednesday, the Public Funds Prosecution and the Industry and Trade Bureau in Shabwa destroyed damaged quantities of food and medicine expired, provided by the World Food Program.

The Aden-based Yemeni News Agency "Saba",, quoted the deputy of the Public Funds Prosecution, Judge Mohsen Butam.

According to local sources in Shabwa, the expired food and drug items were seized from shops, drug stores and health centers.

The amount destroyed was estimated as "1500 rice bags, 1300 wheat bags, 600 oil cartons, 800 lentils", all of which is provided by the World Food Program.
