Sana'a (Debriefer) - The Houthi-introduced initiatives for inclusive solution in Yemen were not in pursuit of the group's interests, but to end aggression and lift blockade imposed on Yemeni people, member of the Houthi Supreme Political Council tweeted on Sunday.
"We have not felt this from other parties," Mohamed Ali al-Houthi added.
Last October, the Houthi group offered to stop drone and missile attacks on Saudi cities if Riyadh decides to lift blockade and stop "its aggression on Yemen."
"All what we're concerned about now is an end to blockade .. and aggression," al-Houthi told then Der Spiegel.
"We're prepared to stop all fronts, stop missiles and drones, enter in serious solutions according to the inclusive solution initiative, agree on all what concerns the Yemeni people, and then go to sign in Germany, Makah or anywhere," he added in an interview with the German paper.
The Houthi group welcomes any efforts for peace, but the Saudi-led coalition rejects the joint declaration proposed by the UN Envoy Martin Griffiths, the Houthi official claimed.
Yemen has been racked by an armed conflict that broke out after the Iranian-backed Houthis ousted the internationally-recognized government late in 2014.
Since then, Sana'a and most of Yemen's northern provinces have been under Houthi control.
