Aden (Debriefer) The Yemeni prime minister on Monday criticized the "international slackness" in dealing with the Iranian-backed Houthi group.
"The international slackness with the Houthis can work no longer," PM Maeen Abdulmalek said at a virtual meeting with the UK ambassador to Yemen, in the "absence of clear stances and messages to meet objective conditions for peace," according to the Riyadh-based Saba.
Its crimes show the world that the Houthi group "doesn't believes in peace, and that it's just a tool used by the Iranian regime to fulfill its devastating agenda in the region," Yemen's PM told Richard Oppenheim.
The meeting discussed the Houthi escalation against Marib city and repeated bombing of civilians, international positions thereon, the latest moves taken by the UN to bring peace, and the pressures needed to be exerted by the international community, Saba said.
