SANAA (Debriefer)--The Houthi group expressed its dismay at the visit of the UN envoy Hans Grundberg to Yemen's capital Sanaa on Monday, downplaying the first visit of Grundberg to the city since he was appointed as an envoy of the UN Secretary General to the country last year.
Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the group's supreme political council, wrote on Twitter: "What can he do? Will he return the Central Bank to Sanaa and pay salaries, relief aid cut off by the US, medical flights that the UN has failed to resume through Sanaa Airport or what?".
The Iran-allied group earlier accused the envoy of being incompetent and prevented him from arriving in city which it has been controlling since it seized power in late 2014.
Grundberg's visit came after Oman convinced the group to receive him.
