HUDAYDAH (Debriefer)--Two civilians were killed in an accidental explosion of a landmine that had been laid by the Houthi group in Yemen's western province of Hudaydah, local sources said on Monday.
The explosion occurred while the victims were driving a motorbike in the area of Al-Fazah in the district of Al-Tuhayta, they added.
The port province is one of the regions most booby-trapped by the Iran-allied group.
Official reports say at least 1,929 civilians have been killed in mine explosions in the past four years.
