Sana'a (Debriefer) Houthi military spokesman on Monday warned Israel that the Iranian-backed group "won't be hesitant to shoot harsh, painful strike in response to any potential assault against our country."
The "Yemeni armed forces warns the Israeli enemy against implication of any blindness," Yahiya Sarei tweeted, as this "won't be met with silence, but with suitable response.
"The armed forces are ready for any options decided by the leadership at any moment," he added, calling on the "Israeli enemy to take this warning seriously."
Earlier this month, the Israeli army's chief of staff said their forces targeted a third country when Gaza Strip was under Israeli attack.
While Aviv Kokhafi did not name this country, al-Arabiya on 7 August said six Iranian and Lebanese experts were killed in a great blast in a Houthi camp earlier this month.
Tel Aviv does not rule out military confrontation with Hezbollah and expects potential targeting with drones from Yemen, Israeli media said last week.
The real danger faced by Israel lies in Yemen, and Houthi targeting of Israel is now an actual matter, in coordination with Hezbollah, the I24 satellite quoted Israeli informed sources as saying.
The Houthi group denied the Israeli claims on an airstrike against some of their sites in Yemen.
