The Ashawes Brigades of the Sudanese forces began leaving the western coast in Yemen on Sunday, after completing their military duties within the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces to support Yemen's internationally recognized government.

Military sources in the west coast said that the Sudanese Ashawes brigades handed over their positions to the Yemeni joint forces.

The Al-Ashawas Brigades is the last Sudanese military batch to leave the western coast fronts in Yemen through the Mocha port, west of Taiz governorate, returning to Sudan.

Sudan has participated in military forces since the beginning of the war on Yemen within the Arab coalition to support of the Yemen's internationally recognized government.

Sudan's military participation in the war inside Yemen witnessed widespread popular criticism, especially after the disclosure of hundreds of wounded and injured Sudanese army forces on the western coast fronts.
