The Yemeni internationally-recognized government army on Saturday sent further reinforcements and shelled sites where the Security Belt (SB) forces of the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council are stationed in Abyan, local sources in the Yemeni southern governorate said.
Earlier, the "SB forces deployed reinforcements to their sites in Yramis area, pushing the government army to send additional troops and shell the SB sites with artillery," the sources added.
The army forces advanced in Qarn al-Kalasi and fired warning artillery shells, according to government military official.
