Yemeni Military sources told Debriefer that the Commander of operations for the Asifa Brigade, Brigadier General Abdullah Saad Ahmed, was killed on Saturday, in the Al-Malahidh Front off Jizan border.
According to the sources, the head of operations for the Al Asifa brigade of the Yemeni government forces was killed in clashes with the Houthi group (Ansar Allah) in the Al-Malahith front.
Earlier on Saturday, forces affiliated with the Yemen's internationally recognized government said that they had killed a senior military commander of the Houthi group (Ansar Allah) in the northern Yemeni province of Saada.
The government forces confirmed that they had taken control of new locations in the Baqem district of Saada governorate, in an offensive operation supported by coalition fighters, according to the Aden-based Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
