The Governor of Hadhramaut Governorate, Major General Faraj Al-Bohsoni, instructed on Sunday evening to restore life to normal in the city of Al-Sheher and the eastern districts and allow movement of movement, just two days after the imposition of the curfew.
Al-Bohsoni also instructed to continue preventing gatherings and imposing a curfew from eight in the evening until six in the morning, according to the Joint Operations Center in Hadhramout, eastern Yemen.
This comes, hours after the Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the High Emergency Committee, Acting Transport Minister Salem Al-Khanbashi, today directed the lifting of the ban on the border Al-Wadeah crossing with Saudi Arabia in front of tanker traffic.
According to Aden-based Yemeni news agency "Saba, the director of the land port of Al-Wadeah Mutlaq Al-Saya'ri said that "the decision to lift the ban includes the movement of tankers to and from the crossing, and that the ban remains on the movement of citizens until further notice."
Al-Saya'ri stressed that "the ban on commercial freight and humanitarian relief carriers will be lifted.
The legitimate Yemeni government had completely closed the Al-Wadeah crossing last week, while it closed the city of Al-Sheher and imposed a curfew after discovering a confirmed case with the Corona virus, last Friday morning.
