SANAA (Debriefer)--The Ansar Allah group, known as the Houthis, on Thursday slammed the silence of Saudi Arabia over a statement by Jared Kushner, a senior advisor to the US president Donald Trump, about expected normalisation between the Saudi kingdom and Israel.
The group's spokesperson, Mohammed Abdulsalam, wrote on Twitter: "The silence over Kushner's statement about the inevitable Saudi normalisation with Israel is obvious evidence Saudi Arabia has separated from the nation and its holy issues, topped by Palestine".
He also criticised Trump's announcement of the normalisation of relations between Israel and Morocco.
Kushner said at a news conference that the normalisation between Israel and Saudi Arabia "is inevitable and a matter of time".
We renew our condemnation of and rejection to any normalisation with Israel, Abdulsalam said.
Morocco was the fourth Arab country to normalise with Israel under Trump's administration after the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan.
