Saudi MASAM removes 4500 mines in February

Aden (Debriefer) - The Saudi-funded demining program (MASAM) on Sunday said its teams removed some 4,500 mines, unexploded ammunitions and explosive devices since the beginning of this February.
From 1 to 19 February, engineering teams demined 4,487 bombs from several Yemeni provinces, MASAM tweeted.
1,199 antitank mines, 119 antipersonnel mines, 3,160 unexploded ammunitions and 9 explosive devices were defused, the program added
Since its launch in 2018, MASAM has removed more than 200,000 mines planted by the Houthi group in Yemeni areas, according to the program.
