BAYDA (Debriefer)--The forces of Yemen's internationally recognised government on Tuesday shot down an explosives-laden drone fired by the Houthi group towards Bayda province, local sources said.
The drone was downed in the district of Al-Sawma'ah which the government forces recaptured on Sunday, the sources said.
More than a week ago, the government launched an offensive to liberate Bayda from the Iran-allied group. Its forces are advancing and have retaken key districts and villages.
