Beirut (Debriefer) - The Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohamed Al Jaber, "has become a burden for the Yemeni dossier," Yemen's transportation ex-minister tweeted on Thursday, citing the Saudi program for Yemeni development as "best evidence for failure."
The Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman and his brother Prince Khaled are urged to review "Al Jaber's file that has become a sign of failure in Yemen," Saleh al-Jabwani added.
It is prejudice against Yemen to have Al Jaber in charge of the Yemeni dossier, after it was the responsibility of Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, he said.
Yemeni activists and officials have already criticized Al Jaber on Twitter, with some dubbing the ambassador as Yemen's premier and de facto ruler.
In his control of the Yemeni file, Al Jaber relies on a special committee that was formed in the 1970s to have Yemeni under Saudi guardianship, according to activists.
