Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Saudi-led coalition backing Yemen's legitimacy on Thursday displayed a footage documenting the interception and destruction of a Houthi booby-trapped drones heading for Saudi lands.
On Wednesday, the Arab coalition said its joint forces foiled Houthi "terrorist" attacks targeting civilians inside Saudi Arabia.
The coalition forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 6 bomb-laden drones sent by the Houthis northward Saudi civil quarters, the coalition spokesman said in a brief statement.
The Houthi attempts to target civilians suggest how the group is desperate due to the gross human and ordnance losses it suffered in Marib and Jawf, Turki al-Maliki added.
The Iranian-backed group in the last two weeks intensified its drone attacks on Saudi lands, but the coalition always says its joint forces shoot them down.
The Houthis say their attacks come in response to the Arab coalition's persistent "aggression and blockade on Yemen."
