Houthis: Coalition operations leave 43000 civilian casualties in Yemen

Sana'a (Debriefer) - The Saudi-led military campaign in Yemen has left 43,397 civilians killed or injured since March 2015, a Houthi-run rights center said Wednesday.
In 2,100 days of war, 17,042 civilians (including 3,804 children and 2,389 women) were killed, and 26,355 civilians (including 4,128 children and 2,801 women) were injured, the center added in remarks carried by al-Masyra TV.
The war damaged 569,283 civilian houses, 177 university facilities, 1,393 mosques, 366 tourist facilities, 389 hospitals and health centers, 1,099 schools and educational centers, 7,005 farms, 133 sports facilities, 245 archeological sites, and 47 media facilities, it added.
The Arab coalition destroyed 15 airports, 16 seaports, 305 power plants and generators, 545 telecom systems and stations, 2,181 water tanks and networks, 1,974 government facilities, and 4,490 bridges, according to the center.
Early this December, the UN said Yemen's 5-year-old war claimed the lives of 233,000 people.
