Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said on Thursday in a statement that its forces destroyed 4 Houthi Iranian-made naval mines in the Red Sea.
The Arab coalition destroyed in total 175 naval mines haphazardly spread by the Houthis, the statement added, according to Saudi media.
"The naval mines are Iranian-made Sadaf," the statement claimed without locating where they were found.
The Houthi randomly-spread naval mines in the Red Sea put the global navigation and trade in jeopardy, the coalition warned.
The Arab coalition repeatedly announce destruction of naval mines in the Red Sea.
Last July, the coalition said 3 Egyptian fishermen were killed and three others injured when a Houthi naval mine blasted off Yemeni coasts to the south of the Red Sea.
