Aden (Debriefer) - A panel of international experts on Wednesday arrived in the Yemeni interim capital to investigate the attack that targeted the new government upon arrival at Aden international airport last December, local media sources said.
With US and UK experts, the panel immediately visited Aden airport to see the sites affected by the attack, the sources added.
The experts' arrival comes 35 days after the civil facility was targeted by an attack that left 28 people killed and 107 others injured.
While Yemen's UN-recognized government accuses the Houthis of firing three ballistic missiles at the airport, the group denies the charges.
Last January, the Yemeni interior minister told reporters that initial investigations showed Houthi involvement in the attack.
The Houthi group along with Iranian and Lebanese experts carried out the terrorist attack, using 3 surface-to-surface ballistic missiles with ranges of 70 to 135 kilometers, General Ibrahim Haidan added, noting that the missiles were fired from Houthi-held areas in Taiz.
