ADEN (Debriefer)--The Parliament of Yemen condemned a deadly Houthi attack on a school in the area of Al-Kadaha west of Taiz province on Sunday.
Dozens of people, including children, were killed and injured in the attack with a ballistic missile on the Tariq bin Ziyad School, according to local sources.
It was a terrorist and cowardly attack, it said, adding that continued Houthi attacks on schools, hospitals and other civilian objects are war crimes and a blatant violation of international law.
It held the Houthi group fully responsible for crimes and violations against civilians.
The international community's failure to protect the Yemeni people and assume its responsibilities towards the group's acts encourage the group to commit more crimes, it said.
It urged to open investigations into crimes against the civilians in Yemen, including burning African migrants last week, hold the group to account and put it and its supporters on the UN list of child rights violators during armed conflicts.
