Riyadh (Debriefer) - The British envoy to Yemen on Monday deplored the killing of Dr. Mazhar al-Youssefi at the hands of Qaeda militants in the Yemeni central governorate of Baydha.
The brutal crucifying and execution crime is disgusting, and underlines Yemen's urgent need for peace and security to get rid of terrorism, Ambassador Michael Aron tweeted.
Late on Friday, Baydha saw a shocking crime committed by al-Qaeda militants who crucified and executed a dentist working for the Sawma'a medical center on charges of spying.
Qaeda posted on social media a footage showing Dr. Youssefi (40) as confessing that he had been recruited as an agent by the national security to plant chips used to trace and target Qaeda jihadists by US drones, and that he had taken photos of women visiting his clinic to blackmail them.
The timing of execution and footage raises questions about real reasons for this terrorist act, say activists, as the crime was widely condemned.
