Jizan (Debriefer) - A shell fired by the Houthi group in Yemen has caused material damages to a Saudi village at borders with Yemen, spokesman of the Saudi civil defense in Jizan said late on Monday.
The Jizan civil defense department received a report that a projectile fired by Houthis from Yemeni lands fell in one of the province's villages, Colonel Mohamed al-Ghmidi added.
Two houses and a vehicle were damaged by shrapnel of the shell that left no human casualties, he said.
No immediate comments have been released by the Houthi group.
The Houthis frequently fire ballistic missiles, projectiles and drones at Saudi areas, in response to military operations launched by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen since 2015.
