Marib (Debriefer) - The Yemeni official army on Sunday said its troops retook "strategic" sites from the Houthi group in the northern governorate of Jawf.
The national army "retook military sites of strategic importance near to Bair al-Marazeeq, and the ring road linking Jawf to Marib," training officer of the pro-government sixth military region said.
"The battles left tens of Houthi fighters killed or injured," Abdullah al-Zawqari added in remarks carried by the national army-run september.net.
On 11 September, the Yemeni UN-recognized government said its troops took control of Houthi command center and wireless telecom system in the eastern part of Hazm, the provincial capital of Jawf.
