SAADA (Debriefer)--Saudi forces on Friday launched rocket and artillery attacks on Yemen's Saada province on the border with Saudi Arabia, the Ansar Allah group, known as the Houthis, said.
It was the heaviest shelling by the Saudi army in months, with more than 30 rockets and artillery shells fired towards several areas in the districts of Razih and Shada'a, the group's mouthpiece Almasirah TV reported.
A Saudi-led coalition, which has been fighting in Yemen since March 2015, has not commented on the attacks.
Saada, the birthplace of the Houthis, has seen fierce battles between coalition-backed government forces and Houthi fighters and received the bulk of Saudi-led bombings in the past six years.
