Aden (Debriefer) - The Houthi group used Iranian-mad missiles to attack Aden international airport on 30 December 2020 upon arrival Yemen's new government, the information minister tweeted on Sunday.
"One month passed after the gross terrorist crime committed by the Iran-backed Houthi group, targeting the prime minister and cabinet members upon arrival at Aden airport, using Iranian-mad missiles," Moammar al-Eryani said.
The Houthis did not care for the fate of hundreds of civilians who were in the airport at the moment of the attack, which was "one of the gravest crimes committed by the group since its coup," he added.
The attack disclosed that the Houthis "don't differ from terrorist groups, and unveil the group's real position towards peace," the Yemeni minister said, calling on the international community to designate the Houthis as "terrorist group" and guarantee its leaders will not escape punishment.
The Houthis previously denied government charges of involvement in the attack that left 28 people killed and 107 others injured.
