Hodeida (Debriefer) - A Houthi military leader has been killed while leading reinforcements in the Yemeni western governorate of Hodeida, the Giant Brigades' media center said Sunday.
The Joint Forces foiled Houthi moves and reinforcements in Kilo16 quarter east Hodeida city, the center added in a statement.
Abu Ibrahim al-Dailimi, along with a number of his guards, was killed as leading reinforcements in an attempt to infiltrate frontlines in the port city, according to the statement.
Hodeida is witnessing repeated violations of ceasefire and fierce battles between the Joint Forces and Houthi fighters, despite the two parties' alleged commitments to the fragile truce announced by the UN in December 2018.
