SANAA (Debriefer)--The Ansar Allah group, also known as the Houthis, said it attacked on Friday the King Khalid Air Base in the Saudi province of Khamis Musheit with a drone, type Qasef-K2.

The drone hit a key military site at the base precisely, the group's military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said.

A Saudi-led coalition fighting in support of Yemen's internationally recognised government has not commented on the Houthi statement.

It was the second Houthi attack on the Saudi Kingdom on Friday.

Early on the day, Sarea said they attacked the base with two drones, Qasef-K2, and an Aramco site in Jizan with a drone, Samad-3.

The coalition said it intercepted and destroyed the three drones.

The group has recently intensified drone and missile attacks against Saudi military and economic sites in retaliation for continued Saudi-led aggression and blockade on regions under its control.
