The STC on Friday made military changes to its ranks following deep disputes between its chairman and leaders

Aden (Debriefer) - Disputes between its chairman and leaders forced the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Friday to make military changes to its ranks.
The STC trusted leadership of the Security Belt's support forces to Brigadier General Abdul Salam Zain al-Baihani, in place of Muhsin al-Wali, according to Anadolu Agency (AA).
Colonel Jalal al-Rabie was appointed as chief-of-staff of the support brigades, replacing Colonel Nabil al-Mashoushi.
The change comes following dispute between al-Wali and STC chairman, Idroos al-Zobaidi, as the former established an oil service company, in addition to the daily levies imposed on goods at checkpoints, observers told AA.
Last Tuesday, Emirati authorities summoned al-Wali and his family to Abu Dhabi, where he received his dismissal, AA quoted a source at Security Belt forces as saying, without further details.
Last March, the two fired generals survived an assassination attempt in Aden port city.
The separatist STC was established in 2017, and seized control of Aden in August 2019.
