Sana'a (Debriefer) - The Iranian-backed Houthis have shot down a spying fighter jet run by the Saudi-led coalition, spokesman for the group tweeted on Thursday.
Houthi defenses successfully downed one of the Arab coalition's drones, Yahiya Sarie added.
While carrying out hostile duties over Najran, the plane was targeted with surface-to-air missile, the Houthi officer said.
Sarie gave no further details on the type of the missile or the targeted plane, but promised to publish full information on the operation later.
No official statement has immediately been released by the Arab coalition command on the Houthi claims.
