Aden (Debriefer) - The Yemeni government on Tuesday reported two Covid-19 infections and on death seen by areas under its control during the last 24 hours.
Taiz witnessed one death and one infection of the pandemic, health ministry-run emergency committee said, as another infection occurred in Hadhramout.
These cases bring the coronavirus infections to 6,931 in total, including 1,363 deaths and 4,111 recoveries.
In other Yemeni areas under Houthi control, authorities deliberately hide statistics as part of what they see as successful approach to tackling the pandemic by avoiding public panic.
Last April, Yemen's official government started Covid-19 vaccination campaign, after COVAX program provided the war-plagued country with 360,000 AstraZeneca shots.
