BAYDA (Debriefer)--Large military reinforcements arrived on Wednesday in Yemen's Bayda province to support the forces of the internationally recognised government against the Houthi group.
With support from the Saudi-led coalition, the government has launched a massive offensive to retake the province from the Iran-allied group.
The reinforcements came from the Western Coast and included qualitative weapons, local sources said.
On Tuesday, the government forces seized the area of Al-Adiyah Al Mudhafar in the district of Bayda, a day after taking control and securing the district of Az Zahir.
They have also seized the area of Al Meshir in the district of Al-Sawma'ah and are pushing deeper into the capital city, Bayda.
Dozens of Houthis have been killed and injured in the fighting.
