Sana'a (Debriefer) The Iranian-backed Houthi group on Saturday said its forces targeted vital sites in the Saudi southern province of Jizan.
"Missile force destroyed very sensitive sites of the Saudi enemy in Jizan," spokesman for the group said in a statement, without naming the sites.
In the operation, three very accurate, advanced ballistic missiles were used and hit their targets, Yahiya Sarie added.
This targeting comes as part of "legitimate response" to the Arab coalition escalated operations, he said, threatening the "Saudi regime with painful blows as long as its aggression and crimes persist."
On Friday night, the Saudi authorities said two civilians were killed and 6 others injured by a Houthi projectile fired at Sumata city in Jizan.
