The joint Yemeni forces loyal to the internationally recognized government announced late Monday evening killing and wounding of a number of Houthi fighters in the battles south of the Hodeidah province in the west of the country.

The Media Center for the Giants Brigades operating within the joint forces reported that the Houthis carried out a large-scale attack from the south and east towards Wadi Dhami and the farms bordering on Hays, and from the north and west sides towards the Khokhah line, Wadi Nakhla and Beit Bish

The joint forces "ambushed the Houthi fighters and suddenly pounced on them with the appropriate weapons.", according to the center.

The center affirmed that the joint forces repelled the crawling and the Houthis inflicted dozens of dead and wounded, as the rest fled.
