Five civilians have been wounded and three vehicles damaged, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Saturday, after a Houthi projectile hit a village in the Saudi southern province of Jizan.
The projectile's shrapnel "caused damages to 3 civilian vehicles and slight injures to 5 civilians," SPA quoted spokesman for Jizan civil defense department as saying.
The five injured people were taken to hospital, Colonel Mohamed al-Ghamidi added, noting that their health was stable.
One month ago, Jizan civil defense department said a Houthi-fired projectile fell onto village at borders with Yemen, leaving material damages.
Two houses and a vehicle were damaged by shrapnel that scattered from the shell, but no casualties were reported, according to spokesman Ghamidi.
The Houthis have not commented on either of the two attacks.
The Houthi group has intensified attacks using drones and ballistic missiles on Saudi areas including vital sites like Abha airport, "in response to the Saudi-led coalition's military operations in Yemen since 2015."
