JAWF (Debriefer)--Defence minister in Yemen's government, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ali Al-Maqdishi, said the main goal at the moment is to restore state and protect the achievements and values of the 26th September revolution, the republican system and the national constants.
In a speech to forces in Jawf province, he vowed to eliminate the Iranian-Houthi project in the country.
The armed forces backed by national resistance fighters and an Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia are determined to continue the battle to end the Houthi coup and liberate the whole country, he said.
"Today, we are more confident that our people will win and that Yemen will be an Arab land forever. The Houthi-Iranian project will not survive".
Battles between the government and Houthi forces have been raging for months in Jawf as the Houthis are seeking to capture the adjacent oil-rich province of Marib.
