RIYADH (Debriefer)--Information minister in Yemen's internationally recognised government Muammar Al-Eryani on Saturday said that designation of the Houthis as a terrorist group is a public demand and the first step to resolve the Yemeni crisis.
Experiences and developments have proved that Yemen's stability requires defeating this group, he wrote on Twitter.
If this group is not put on the terror list, it will threaten the whole world, he said, adding that the continued international silence over its crimes will prolong the suffering of the Yemeni people.
"It is not logical to keep silent over terror killing 30 million people and threatening international navigation routes".
Last week, international media outlets said US president Donald Trump had threatened to designate the Houthis as a terrorist group within his campaign of maximum pressure on Iran.
