Riyadh (Debriefer) - A ballistic missile fell onto the Yemeni northern governorate of Sa'ada, the Saudi-led coalition said Thursday, after the Houthis fired the rocket from Sana'a governorate.
The Houthi group in Thursday morning fired a ballistic missile from Sana'a, using civilian objects in the launch area, coalition spokesman said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The projectile fell inside Yemeni lands, 158 away from launch place, in Sa'ada, Turki al-Maliki added.
The group persistently violates the international human law by randomly firing ballistic missiles that fall on civilians and on residential areas, threatening the life of hundreds of civilians, he said.
"The coalition joint forces' command continually takes strict, deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy these capacities, protect civilians inside Yemen and guard the regional and international security," the spokesman said.
Saudi Arabia has been leading a military coalition in Yemen since 26 March 2015, in support of forces loyal to President Hadi to retake areas controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthi group.
