Sana'a (Debriefer) - The Houthi group has carried out a new attack targeting the King Khalid Airbase in the Saudi southern city of Khamis Mushait, spokesman for the Iranian-backed group said Saturday.
The Houthi air force targeted a military critical target in the King Khalid Airbase with Qasif-k2 drone, Yahiya Sarie added in a brief statement.
The hit was accurate, he claimed, noting that this attack came in response to the Arab coalition escalation and continual blockade on Yemen.
No immediate comment has been issued by the Saudi-led coalition on the incident.
On Friday, the Arab coalition said its defenses intercepted a Houthi ballistic missile aimed at the Saudi southwestern city of Jizan.
The Houthis have recently stepped up their attacks on Saudi targets using ballistic missiles, drones and other projectiles, but the coalition repeatedly says its forces intercept them.
