Doha (Debriefer) - The Qatari Amir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamid Al Thani, is expected to arrive soon in Riyadh in response to invitation by the Saudi King, Salman Bin Abdul Aziz.
The Saudi King and Qatari Amir will hold a dual summit to discuss the situation in the Gulf region in light of latest international talks with Tehran.
The two Arab leaders will also discuss the situation in Yemen and the recent developments in the Afghan peace process.
Late in April, the Saudi foreign minister, Faisal Bin Farhan, handed the Qatari Amir a letter from the Saudi King inviting Sheikh Tamim to visit the Kingdom.
This will be the second visit paid by the Qatari Amir to Saudi Arabia, after his historical participation in the GCC summit last January that focused on Gulf reconciliation.
