SANAA (Debriefer)--The Ansar Allah group, known as the Houthis, said it is ready to participate in negotiations to end the war in Yemen in Qatar.

If the aggression countries respond positively to the letter of the leader of the revolution to Oman's Sultan, nothing will prevent us from sitting around the table to complete the dialogue in Qatar, Houthi leader Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi said in a statement on Twitter on Tuesday. The letter was conveyed to the Omani Sultan by an Omani delegation which held talks with Houthi leader and officials in Sanaa for days last week within regional and international efforts aimed at ending the war in the country.

But the outcomes of the talks have not been revealed yet.

The Iran-allied Houthi group and the internationally recognised government backed by a Saudi-led military coalition have been fighting for more than six years. The latest direct talks between them were sponsored by the UN in Kuwait in late 2016.
