Hodeida (Debriefer) The Yemeni Joint Forces (JF) have brutally executed ten Houthi captives detained at fighting seen by Hodeida in the last 48 hours, the Iranian-backed group said Sunday.
Later, spokesman for the Emirati-backed JF denied the Houthi "alleged accusations".
"We absolutely deny this charge," Wadhah al-Dobaish said in press remarks, as "everyone knows well the party that tortures and executes war prisoners, but also kills civilians at their houses in front of the very eyes of their relatives."
The Houthi history is full of crimes and violations against civilian detainees and abductees, women and children, he said.
It is the Houthi group that "kills and tortures captives, executes civilian abductees and tortures anyone opposing its ideology or refusing to join its ranks to fight for the sake of its Iranian sectarian project," Dobaish added.
The JF is committed to dealing with prisoners in accordance with all the international humanitarian laws and religious and moral values, he claimed.
The last few days saw fierce hostilities triggered by Houthi advances following JF pullouts from many parts of the Yemeni western governorate of Hodeida.
