Riyadh (Debriefer) The Saudi-led coalition is taking precautions against Houthi booby-trapped boats in the southern part of the Red Sea, the Arab coalition said on Monday in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The coalition spotted Houthi hostile moves and activity using explosive boats, the statement added, warning against "imminent danger threatening the global navigation and trade south the Red Sea."
The coalition is taking measures to neutralize the naval threat and to secure navigation freedom, it said, without further details.
Saudi Arabia has been leading a military coalition in Yemen since 26 March 2015, in support of forces loyal to President Hadi to retake areas controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthi group.
The group, in return, fires ballistic missiles and explosive drones at Saudi lands, with the Arab coalition repeatedly declaring the frustration of these attacks.
