Information minister in Yemen's internationally recognised government, Muammar Al-Eryani, has called on the Lebanese government to shut down pro-Houthi media including Almasirah and Al-Sahat TVs as well as tens of news websites.
Hezbollah, part of the Lebanese government, has not only provided logistic support to the Houthis including military experts and fighters but also turned the southern suburb in Lebanon into a platform for the coup media campaigns against the legitimate government and the Saudi-led coalition, he said.
"Such illegal activities contribute to prolonging war and harm stability and security of Yemen and the relations between the two countries".
Pro-government forces with support from the coalition have been fighting the Iran-backed Houthis for more than three years.
They have announced several times that Iranian and Hezbollah fighters and experts were killed in battles in Yemen.
Al-Eryani also called on his Lebanese counterpart to stop Houthi destructive and inflammatory activities that are continuing under political and security cover from Hezbollah.
In August, the government called on the UN Security Council to investigate Hezbollah's interference in Yemen's affairs and support to the Houthi forces.
It accused the Houthis of receiving orders from Hezbollah to obstruct the peace process.
The government also sent a letter of protest to the Lebanese government requesting it to rein in Hezbollah's actions in Yemen.
