On Friday ,US Central Command denied reports that Iranian forces shot down a Pentagon plane drone.
"Alleged reports of a U.S. drone being shot down are incorrect," U.S. Central Command spokesman said
"If a drone is shot down under CENTCOM responsibility, it is not the Department of Defense's equipment." U.S. Central Command said in a post on Twitter.
Earlier on Friday, Commander of the Iranian Air Defense Force announced that the US drone, which was shot down at dawn on Friday, was shot down by local army air force systems deployed in the public area of Mahshahr by directing a unified network of air defense headquarters.
