ADEN (Debriefer)--The Yemeni government on Saturday welcomed the selection of a new Libyan government through a vote by the Libyan political dialogue forum in Switzerland.
This is a historic and crucial step to restore security and stability in Libya, it said, voicing its support to the Libyan people and sovereignty.
The foreign ministry called on the international community to support the political process and the launch of a new phase of development in Libya.
The forum chose an interim government through a UN-backed vote.
