Taiz (Debriefer) - Military clashes were renewed early on Thursday between the Yemeni official government troops and Houthi fighters in the northern and western parts of Taiz city.
Sporadic confrontations erupted in the vicinity of Air Defense camp, al-Zonoj front and Jara Mont in the southwestern city, local sources told Debriefer.
Houthi artillery shells targeted Jara Mont and Berara area early on Thursday, the sources added.
The shelling triggered confrontations that left deaths among government troops, according to the sources.
Last March, the government troops launched military campaign to take control of sites held by the Houthi group in Taiz governorate.
