Medical sources in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, announced the death of former Minister of Health, Dr. Thabet Mohsen Nasher,Thursday, after he infected with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
The sources said that Dr. Nasher died in a private hospital in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a , days after he was infected with the virus.
The Houthi group (Ansar Allah), which held the capital, Sana'a, has only announced three cases of coronavirus infection, including one death, in light of official and popular accusations of secrecy over the real numbers.
As of Thursday morning, the internationally recognized government registered 419 cases, including 95 deaths and 17 recoveries.
