Shabwa (Debriefer) The Yemeni Giant Brigades (GB) forces have dismantled hundreds of Houthi landmines in the two governorates of Marib and Shabwa, the GB said on Saturday in a statement.
In cooperation with the Saudi MASAM project, GB engineering teams removed and defused hundreds of Houthi explosives in Baihan district (in Shabwa) and Hareeb district in Marib, according to the statement.
The Houthi group has laid more than one million mines across Yemen, the Yemeni government says, leaving millions of people at risk of randomly planted death.
